Arduino Powered Sniper Detector

This is a project built in my senior design class for my computer engineering degree from UCF. We called it the Acoustic Triangulation Device. It is a system designed to detect the location of a gunshot or explosion, and relay GPS coordinates in real time to the user using Google Earth. It is controlled using the Arduino Mega and various other helpful circuit components mostly acquired from RadioShack. It is accurate to within 5 meters when detecting a gunshot with in 100 meters. The software we wrote can also detect the type of gun fired such as a hand gun, shotgun, or high powered rifle.
